From Iran via Starlink: One of our [female] friends was shot in the left leg in Tehran on January 8. By chance, a nurse picked her up and took her to her own home. There, they removed the bullet from her leg, but they did not take her to a hospital [There have been reports of the injured in the hospital getting arrested or even get shot]. They contacted her father, who lives in another city, and told him that his daughter was at their house. The father drove to Tehran in the middle of the night in his personal car and took his daughter back to his hometown. They are now struggling to find proper medical treatment for her. Unfortunately, everyone standing directly in front of that girl was killed by gunfire from automatic weapons. The Persian text has been rewritten for security reasons: During the events in Tehran, one of our acquaintances was shot in the leg. By chance, a member of the medical staff took her away from the scene and transferred her to a safe house. There, the bullet was removed from her leg, but due to the circumstances, it was not possible to go to the hospital. Later, her family, who lived outside of Tehran, were informed, and her father drove to Tehran at night in his personal vehicle and took her back to their city. Now they are facing great difficulties in pursuing her treatment. The bitter point is that those who were very close and in front of that individual all lost their lives due to heavy gunfire.
