What is it all for if we lose our country? Before I saw @nickshirleyy 's expose on the MN somali fraud I was apathetic to America's decline. I thought it wasn't possible to fix, and I knew if it got bad enough I could just retire in dubai any time I wanted to. I could live off APR from staked usdc and never have to work another day while enjoying the luxuries of life and fast cars. I said if I was wealthy enough, the decline of my country wouldn't really matter, and the cost to fix it would be higher than the cost of enjoying a financially free future away from my own country. And to an extent that is true, but over this past week I've been absorbing the sheer scale of fraud and waste that has put us in this position. The thought of trying to fix America is such a depressing idea, the scale of these problems is literally impossible to wrap your head around. Where do we even start was the question I asked a thousand times. I see the answer now. We start locally and we fix government waste in our cities and counties. One city council at a time is how we put the puzzle pieces together. If we fix the fraud we have a chance. One chance, thats it, before I believe the country is actually too far gone. The nice watches and the fast cars mean literally nothing if we let our ancestors deaths be in vain
